Support When Life Feels Overwhelming

Welcome

I’m Ashley Allis, LMHC.

Since 2012, I’ve supported individuals through major life transitions with curiosity, compassion, and evidence-based care. I specialize in pregnancy and postpartum mental health, infertility, autism, and therapy for young adults, helping clients navigate anxiety, uncertainty, and change with greater clarity and confidence. I am a licensed therapist in New York, Illinois, South Carolina and Indiana and provide telehealth therapy.

Ready to begin? Let’s connect β€” I offer a complimentary 15-minute consultation to see if we’re a good fit.

Why Choose Me

Choosing a therapist is a deeply personal decision. You deserve someone who understands your challenges, respects your individuality, and helps you find practical ways to feel better.

I bring warmth, authenticity, and clinical expertise to every session. My approach is collaborative and down-to-earth, helping clients feel supported while building real tools for everyday life.

I hold a certification in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C) and have additional training in infertility, anxiety, and autism, allowing me to provide specialized, evidence-based care that honors each client’s unique experience.

I specialize in working with adults navigating anxiety, life transitions, pregnancy and postpartum adjustment, infertility, and autism. My practice is neurodiversity-affirming and rooted in compassion, sensitivity, and genuine connection.

As a licensed therapist in New York, Illinois, South Carolina and Indiana, I offer telehealth therapy for adults that is flexible, accessible, and supportive of your real life. My goal is to create a space where you feel understood, empowered, and capable of meaningful change.

Areas of Specialization

  • Support for navigating emotional changes, identity shifts, and the challenges of early parenthood. As both a therapist and a mom, I understand how complex this season can be and strive to create a space where you feel seen and supported.

  • A supportive space to process grief, uncertainty, and hope throughout infertility and family-building. I bring both clinical expertise and personal understanding to this deeply emotional journey.

  • Therapy that embraces neurodiversity and helps build self-understanding, confidence, and coping strategies. I’m passionate about supporting autistic clients and their families in finding strength and acceptance through a neuroaffirming lens.

  • Guidance and tools to manage stress, ease anxiety, and adapt through life’s changing seasons. I help clients slow down, reflect, and find clarity in times of uncertainty or growth β€” whether adjusting to college or grad school, coping with loss, or navigating major life changes.

What Therapy With Me Looks Like

Therapy with me is a judgment-free zone where we tackle life’s challenges togetherβ€”whether it’s navigating pregnancy, postpartum life, infertility, anxiety, grief, or experiences related to autism and neurodiversity. We’ll talk, reflect, and sometimes laugh (because a little humor goes a long way!), all while focusing on practical strategies you can actually useβ€”think stress-reducing tools, realistic routines, and ways to make daily life a little easier.

Sessions are collaborative and tailored to you. My goal is to help you feel supported, understood, and empowered to handle life’s twists and turnsβ€”without overcomplicating things or making therapy feel like just another to-do on your list.
